When you visit this site

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., USA. To deliver the pages and keep them secure, Vercel's servers record technical data for each visit: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, and your browser and device type. This is necessary to run the site (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Vercel keeps these logs according to its own privacy notice, opens in a new tab.

The fonts, images and scripts of this site are served from this site's own server, with one exception: Google's analytics script, which loads only if you click "Accept" (see below). No external font service is used.

Google Analytics, only with your consent

If you click "Accept" in the banner, we use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how people find and use this site, for example which pages are visited and how often the donation buttons are clicked. If you click "Decline", or make no choice, neither Google Tag Manager nor Google Analytics is loaded. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, together with Google LLC, USA. Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID) to recognise a returning browser. Data may be transferred to the USA; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We keep analytics data for 14 months. More in Google's privacy policy, opens in a new tab.

You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. Your choice itself is stored in your browser's local storage.

Donations through PayPal

The donation buttons take you to PayPal. PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., or PayPal, Inc. depending on where you live, processes your payment as its own controller under its own privacy statement, opens in a new tab. From PayPal, Céu do Novo Mundo receives the details of your gift as shown in its PayPal account, such as your name, email address and the amount, and uses them to record the gift and for receipts (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR). These records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require.

When you write to us

If you email us, we use your address and message only to answer you (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), and delete them when they are no longer needed for that conversation, unless we must keep them by law.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and data portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can withdraw consent at any time, with effect for the future. Write to mail@sacredjourney.earth. If you live in the EU, the UK or Switzerland, you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

We do not sell personal data.
